Today, therefore, we propose an original recipe, which could be very useful for those who find it difficult to resume good eating habits.

In fact, we will take well-known ingredients and give them a sauce with a rather particular taste. So we will eat healthy but at the same time we will discover new tastes and combinations. So, to help us reduce blood sugar and blood cholesterol, let’s try this very easy and delicious salad, let’s see how to make it.

Ingrediants

Today we are preparing a vegetable salad, with a dressing of yogurt, humus and garlic. Obviously, being a simple salad, you can freely remove or add ingredients.

This recipe is very quick to prepare and we recommend using these ingredients:

  • half a white cabbage, finely chopped;
  • 150 grams of radishes, finely chopped;
  • 1 sliced ‚Äč‚Äčonion;
  • a handful of chopped parsley;
  • two cucumbers, cut into small pieces;
  • 250 grams of Greek yogurt;
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice;
  • 3 tablespoons of humus or sesame seed sauce;
  • 1 crushed clove of garlic;
  • extra virgin olive oil;
  • sale.

This dish combines in an original way simple ingredients to find. Humus may be a little more rare, but it can be found in well-stocked stores. Alternatively, you can look for sesame seed sauce, which is called tahina.

This salad contains various healthy ingredients, in particular we point out the cucumber. According to experts, in fact, this vegetable could have beneficial properties on the body.

In particular, it would contain antioxidant substances, which slow down aging and would also reduce blood cholesterol. It would also help keep blood sugar in check.

The preparation, as we said, is very fast. We put the cabbage, radishes, onion and parsley in a bowl. We salt and mix well to make the cabbage more tender.

We take another small bowl and put together the yogurt, the lemon juice, the humus and the garlic clove. We mix well until you get a homogeneous mixture. We add the cucumbers and mix a little more. Finally, add everything to the first bowl, give it one last good stir and the salad is ready. We serve, add salt and oil to taste and we can serve.
