The Food Network host cooked the eggs over medium heat, stirring until scrambled, about 2 minutes. “I noticed when they were fighting how beautiful and fluffy they look,” he said. “There is something about scrambled eggs with chives that is a weakness of mine. I just love them.”
Drummond put the eggs in a bowl and added chopped ham. “I didn’t want to add the ham to the pan because I didn’t want to contribute to making everything hot, hot, hot,” he explained. “And the ham is already cooked, so it will help cool things down.”

‘The Pioneer Woman’ Star Uses an Easy Shortcut Ingredient for the Dough
For the base of the hand pie, Drummond used an easy shortcut ingredient: puff pastry. He cut the dough into squares and placed a spoonful of the egg mixture in the center of half the crusts.

Drummond brushed the patties with beaten egg and sprinkled poppy seeds on top. He baked them in a 400 degree Fahrenheit oven for 20 minutes.
