The Minister of Tourism, Reyes Maroto, together with chefs from A Coruña in Madrid Fusión

The City Council of A Coruña, through the Consortium of Tourism and Congresses of A Coruña, is presenting the gastronomic offer of the city in the 20th edition of Madrid Fusion which began yesterday and will last until this Wednesday at the Madrid Trade Fair Institute (IFEMA).

A delegation from A Coruña traveled to the capital of Spain to participate in the fair hand in hand with the platform Taste Spain. the chefs David Perez, from La Penela restaurant, and Moncho Mendezfrom the Millo Orzán restaurant, are in charge of making the dishes that represent the city of Hercules during these three days at Madrid Fusión. The Coruña post has approached the Minister of Tourism, Reyes Maroto, who has been learning about the products and typical dishes of Galicia.

The stand in A Coruña offers different moments such as breakfast, a demonstration of products from the Coruña fish market, vermouth sessions, sweet moments, showcookings or workshops, as well as presentations of the Atlantic Territory Gastronomic Days – Biosphere Reserve, San Juan, the Picadillo Tapas Contest, the Laconic or Boucatise Days.

Adrian Felipez, chef of the Miga restaurant, was the first to offer a showcooking yesterday at the A Coruña stand. It was titled “By hand, the Atlantic pantry”. The next one will be this Wednesday 30 at 11:00 and it will be carried out by Alvaro Victorianochef of the Peculiar Group and Picadillo award for the Best Creative Tapa 2021 that will deal with “The era of the vegetable world: not everything is seafood”.

In addition, there will be three workshops offered by Tourism of A Coruña for all attendees.
