The day against rural depopulation highlights the role of the female figure in the workplace
This morning, the mayor of Bolaños, Miguel Ángel Valverde, inaugurated the II Networking Breakfast with women entrepreneurs and businesswomen from Campo de Calatrava, in which the Bolaños Women’s Center collaborated. The day has been the scene of exchange of experiences and reflections on being an enterprising woman and businesswoman in rural areas, informs the City Council in a press release.
During the institutional presentation, in addition to the first mayor of Bolañego, the Councilor for Women, Angelines de Toro, the director of the Business Development area of the Chamber of Commerce, Mayte Carmona, the Business Dynamization technician of the Chamber of Commerce , Elena Moraleda, and the manager of AD Campo de Calatrava, Carlos Corella, among others.
These conferences, framed within the commemorative events of 8-M, are developed within the framework of the Dynamiza Calatrava project, hand in hand with the Ciudad Real Provincial Council, which promotes the business fabric of depopulated areas in the province.
In this line, have been the words of the councilor who was “surprised” by the important acceptance that the activity has had, which due to “the fact that it is women who have undertaken, has an added value, since equality that we are pursuing is not yet complete”.
Likewise, Valverde demanded “initiatives by the Administrations that really favor the subjection of the population in the rural world with more favorable fiscal policies.” Ciudad Real is the second province at the national level with the most depopulation, and “Bolaños is no stranger, so entrepreneurial activities like this one that generate the opportunities that are needed in rural areas are appreciated,” he added.
After the inauguration, the “Feel-Good” talk-workshop took place, given by the Secretary of the WOMEN CLM Association, Francisca Moya, to share experiences and knowledge and promote female entrepreneurship and encourage vocation. Subsequently, the mindfulness workshop for entrepreneurs “The greatest progress is to stop”, by Ana M.ª Sánchez, closed the cycle of activities with the teaching of exercises whose regular practice contributes to the well-being of the women who practice them.
