In the heart of Barrio Bravo, the flutes and tepaches “La Pasadita” are other typical places that you should visit. The staff joke when they give you the order, assuring that they are “lucky flautas”, because if you get meat it means that you are in luck. The classic liver tacos

To close with a flourish you have to visit the famous Tepito liver tacos. Ramírez Moranchel has been in tacos for more than 40 years, so they have become a classic. The first thing you will notice is the huge griddle that is ready to cook the liver. The menu is simple: liver tacos with onions, red sauce to accompany and a few drops of lemon.

The ritual is simple with the head tilted at 45º and the little finger raised -in order not to lose the class- you have to take a bite out of your liver taco. In the Ramírez Moranchel tacos, people who are not very fond of liver are delighted by the rich flavor of the tacos.
