Technological breakfasts address European funding opportunities in Fuerteventura

The next session of the Technological Breakfasts of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura will feature the presentation ‘Opportunities of European financing funds for Fuerteventura’, which seeks to promote innovative and entrepreneurial projects on the Island, trying to take advantage of funds and financing tools that are promoted from the European institutions.

The activity will take place at 09:30 am, at the Training and Conference Center of Fuerteventura, and will be led by Massimiliano Dragoni, an expert from the European Commission.

The Technological Breakfasts began a new cycle last February, with which the business fabric, social and economic actors, entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs and educational centers continue to debate options and future challenges for the Island.

For the Councilor for New Technologies of the Cabildo, Jonathan Gil, this new presentation “is an opportunity to learn first-hand about the European financing lines and programs that can contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem on the Island, take advantage of resources and tools that from Europe are promoted to attract investment, business opportunities to the Island”.

Dragoni will address the European funding opportunities for the Island, allowing an exchange of views and questions. Later, breakfast will be held with the attendees, creating a direct environment or ecosystem with companies, freelancers and the general public that exists.

Massimiliano Dragoni has developed a solid professional career in the European Commission and the competences that he covers refer to European programs of research, technology and innovation, digital transformation and digital entrepreneurship. Dragoni is an expert in negotiation, budgeting and international relations, among other fields, as well as responsible for the Startup Europe program and the Tech Due diligence initiative.

The Technological Breakfasts are a space in which the business sector, institutions and the university world meet with prestigious speakers to generate debates and promote innovative projects that favor economic development in Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands.
