The egg is one of the star ingredients in the kitchen, a staple in any pantry, easy to do and ideal for all kinds of recipes, suitable for any time of the day.

The ways to prepare it are innumerable: fried, poached, scrambled, grilled, in tortilla… each one has its peculiarities and adapts more to the tastes of some people or others.

Toast with poached egg

Poached eggs or poached eggs are a tasty way to prepare this food, and it won’t take too long. Submerge the egg in very hot water, but without boiling it. The movement of the bubbles and the incorporation of a vinegar squirt will cause the clear to take the right point, coagulating. The preparation time will not exceed a few 3-4 minutesand once ready, they can be placed on toast and accompanied with ham and cheese, or with avocado, salmon and cherry tomatoes, giving rise to delicious combinations.

A simple and healthy combination, which also offers the advantage that it allows you to prepare it the night before and keep it in the fridge to taste directly when you wake up. The hard-boiled egg goes perfectly with fruits such as strawberries, cherries, red fruits or bananas, as well as with cereals or with mild flavor seedslike chia.

A classic that never goes out of style. Simple as hell, and customizable to the extreme, as it goes with anything salty. If you are looking for a most powerful breakfast, you can choose to prepare them with bacon, chorizo, chistorra or pancetta, without forgetting the classic Serrano or Iberian ham. If instead you prefer one more option ‘Light‘, lacón, turkey or york ham can be your best allies.

From the basic French omelette to the elaborate potato omelette, there is a whole range of options valid to occupy the center of your table at the last meal of the day. Then we can go into the tastes of each one: more or less curd, with or without onion… The children will love it with sausages, with chorizo ​​or with cheese. And if you want to innovate, try incorporating ingredients to your liking.

A slightly more sophisticated and original proposal that can be used for certain occasions. Pica pepper Y onion (or any other vegetable to taste) into very small pieces, and prepare the sofrito with olive oil, add a little garlic and parsley and incorporate a tomato previously grated. You can add oregano, black pepper or some other seasoning. Let the mixture cook, stirring occasionally. Open some holes in the sauce, one for each egg you plan to add, and incorporate them well placed so that they fry, over a not too strong heat. At the end, you can add a little paprika. And again we end with a universal classic, simple and to the taste of all palates. Break the egg, add it to a frying pan with very hot olive oil, add a touch of salt, and that’s it.
