Every March 31, Mexico prepares to experience one of the most anticipated gastronomic events of the year: the taco day. A day to pay tribute to the famous dish that over the years has achieved great acceptance and devotion, shining far beyond Mexican borders.
A corn tortilla, folded and stuffed with endless ingredients and sauces, that steals our hearts bite after bite. Originating during pre-Hispanic times, these tortillas are part of the Mexican collective imagination, being a main element of its culinary proposal, used as an accompaniment to any type of dish or even as eating utensils.
Pork, veal, prawns, chicken… accompanied by endless other ingredients that result in a real explosion of flavours, textures and colours.

GAVE MX, from Ibiza to Valencia with typical Mexican dishes:
Behind GAVE MX are Yaiza Salmerón and Rogelio Corral, a young and hard-working couple whose passion for travel and gastronomy brought them together a decade ago. She, originally from Madrid and he, from Durango (Mexico); They met at a hotel and events school in Australia.
After touring Australia on vacation and enjoying every corner, at the end of the degree they decided to move to Spain, where their plan was to work six months in Ibiza and six months in Andorra, to save enough and pay for a trip around the world on a motorcycle for their moon. of honey. But fate -and the charms of the island- had other plans for both of them and in May 2015 they opened their first GAVE MX, an authentic Mexican restaurant in the liveliest of the Pitiusas Islands.
Years later, they came across València and decided to try their luck in the city of Túria while maintaining the Ibiza location. They opened in 2019, they raffled the toughest months of the pandemic and over time they have managed to run as one of the most renowned Mexicans in the city. A large premises with a discreet terrace, a dream kitchen and many possibilities to continue growing.
“GAVE MX is flavor, color, culture, atmosphere, a family place, where the client is treated with care and closeness. A little piece of Mexico in València, with authentic dishes, away from the from Texas and Mexico”, indicate its own founders Yaiza and Rogelio.
