A new study has revealed that the consumption of this foodfrequent in the breakfast of millions of peoplecan greatly increase the development of at least three aggressive types of cancer.
These foods studied are dairy products, specifically yogurt, milk and cheese.
The study was carried out in China and for this the data of 500 thousand people were analyzed, of which 70 percent had never eaten dairy productswhile a fifth of the participants ate dairy at least once a week.

The consumption ofdairy at breakfast increases the risk of developing liver cancer, lymphoma and breast cancer. During the investigation, 30 thousand people developed cancer. They found that consuming more than 50 grams of dairy a day increased the risk by 12 percent for men and 17 percent for women.
The specialists indicate that this is the first study that finds the relationship between dairy products and the development of cancer, although they agree that more studies should be carried out and determine if these associations are causal.
So do milk and dairy products really increase cancer risk? There is much education that, over the years, has analyzed the association between cdairy consumption and cancerbut it must be emphasized that most of the available evidence is based on observational studies, which provide suggestive but not conclusive evidence.
However, it’s best to consume dairy products in moderation and base your diet on a variety of fresh, whole foods.

While our results suggest that there may be a direct link between regular consumption of dairy products and certain types of cancer, keep in mind that dairy products are a source of protein, vitamins, and minerals.
It would be unwise to limit consumption of dairy products solely on the basis of the current study results or without ensuring adequate intake of protein, vitamins and minerals from other sources,” said Associate Professor Huaidong Du of Oxford Population Health.
