The Barrio del Puerto de Coslada hosts this Sunday the Paseo de la Salud, an initiative framed in the VIII Health Week which will take place over the next few days.
The appointment will be this Sunday, April 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Plaza del Mar Aegeo in the Barrio del Puerto. Thus, this walk includes a Race for Health, Healthy Breakfast, games for children, a visit from the Mobile Unit of SUMMA 112, educational activities with dogs, dance, and stands of social and health associations.
VIII Health Week
After the two-year break forced by the pandemic situation, this activity is resumed whose objective is the creating healthy habits that allow the both physical and mental care, and raise awareness about the importance of caring for and strengthening our health and vitality.

Likewise, there will be the collaboration of the College of Dental Hygienists of Madrid, which will carry out workshops “Healthy Smiles” education for oral health, aimed at 5-year-old schoolchildren, with intervention in fifteen schools in the municipality.
Prevention activities and workshops
there will be a whole series of prevention activities to take care of cardiovascular, ocular, oral, auditory and bone health, among others. There will also be workshops onbreast self-examination, pelvic floor, colic in infants, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, fall prevention, emotional well-being or anxiety control.

Thus, with the slogan ‘Donate Blood, sure you’re someone’s type’6th grade students from CEIP El Olivo and 3rd grade ESO students from IES Luis Gª Berlanga, will encourage Cosladeños to donate blood on April 6 and 7 at the Henares University Hospital.
