On Thursday, March 10, the Bourbon Asunción Convention Hotel presented the brand’s hotels focused on the leisure, family and business segments at a working breakfast aimed at local travel agents. The presentation was chaired by Annie Morrissey, Director of Sales and Marketing of the brand, Thiago Gómez, Sales Manager of the Bourbon Cataratas Eco Resort, Fernando Macedo and Lys Garcete, General Manager and Sales Manager of the Bourbon Asunción Convention Hotel, respectively.

The initial welcome was given by Fernando Macedo, who pointed out: “After two years of limitations due to the pandemic, this occasion is propitious to reestablish contacts, chat, thank this positive response to our call and above all, in addition to telling you how our hotels are, learn more about the needs and business options that we can start together.”

Next, Annie Morrissey referred to the characteristics of the brand, pointing out that the Bourbon chain, with more than 60 years of experience, is the only and largest entirely Brazilian chain, owned by the Vezozzo family, and mentioned its international projection, with two hotels in Paraguay and one in Argentina, and highlighted an unprecedented event in these times of pandemic, the incorporation of two new hotels.

There are 24 hotels and 4,700 rooms structured under the Bourbon Hotels & Resorts brands, in this category we find hotels for conventions, resorts and hotels proper; the Be brand brings together luxury hotels oriented towards unique experiences, an example in this category is the Jardín Escondido by Coppola hotel in Buenos Aires; the Rio by Bourbon brand offers practical and versatile experiences and finally the Alliance hotels, these last hotels are affiliated properties.

A special mention was received by the Bourbon Institute in Cambará, which reflects the social and environmental commitment of the hotel chain, it is a school for 1,500 children that provides free education and 70 homes for people with limited resources, in addition to courses for learning trades Help support local families.

Liz Garcete, recently incorporated into the executive staff of the Bourbon Asunción, in addition to a complete description of the hotel, highlighted some of its unique characteristics such as its infrastructure for the MICE sector with the largest Convention Center in the country; the renowned feijoada on Saturdays; its own hydroponic garden that can be visited with scheduled tours in conjunction with the Soccer Museum; the rooftop with live music and an exclusive feature that reflects the property’s environmental commitment: its own wastewater treatment plant.

This breakfast is complemented by a fam tour developed this weekend to the Cataratas area, which is being accompanied by Thiago Gómez. The trip will allow visiting the hotels in Ciudad del Este and Cataratas, the latter recently went through a rebranding process becoming an Eco Resort, the only one with that characteristic in the Cataratas area.
