Air fryer breakfasts: the best time of day

Those who love to eat but not so much to cook know: there is nothing better than an appliance that makes our lives easy and pleasant. That’s what we feel with the air fryer: that we are able to prepare everything without being disappointed.

Applies to make French fries, of course, but also for dinners, vegetables, cuts of meat and menus of all kinds. Then of course you can start the day taking advantage of this investment!

From tortilla chips to salsa: chilaquiles

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 15 corn tortillas
  • enough salt
  • vegetable oil spray

for the sauce

  • 1 kilo of tomatoes or tomatillos
  • 1/4 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 serrano peppers
  • a bunch of coriander
  • 2 cups of water or chicken broth
  • enough salt


  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200ºC or 400ºF.
  2. Place the tomatillos/tomatoes, onion, garlic and chiles in the basket, cook for 10 minutes and turn. Leave another 15 minutes or until they take on a dark colored appearance.
  3. Blend together with coriander and salt.
  4. Serve in a saucepan over medium heat and add the chicken broth.
  5. Cut the tortillas into eight triangles and sprinkle with a little spray oil and salt.
  6. Cook in the air fryer for 5 minutes. Flip and cook another 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve in a deep dish and bathe with the sauce.

Hard-boiled egg

Ingredients (4 servings)


  1. Preheat basket to 270°F or 130°C.
  2. Place the eggs there and close to cook at the same temperature.

Animal tip: warm eggs will take ten minutes; on average they will be 12 and completely hard they need 15

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 individual cans of Greek yogurt without sugar
  • 1 teaspoon honey or monk fruit
  • You have to


  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200ºC or 400ºF.
  2. Mix the yogurt with the eggs and honey in a bowl until a homogeneous mixture remains.
  3. Press the center of each slice of bread so that there is a kind of bowl.
  4. Serve the yogurt mixture on the bread and decorate with blackberries and strawberries.
  5. Cook in the air fryer for 8 minutes.

Air Fryer Granola

This one will take a little more time… but it’s worth it.


  • ½ cup plain oatmeal
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 4 tablespoons cup of pumpkin seed
  • ½ cup of chopped cashew nuts
  • ½ cup of chopped pecan nuts
  • Quarter cup diced dehydrated apricot
  • dried blueberries to taste
  • ¼ cup amaranth
  • ¼ cup of piloncillo honey
  • One teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of chia
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 140ºC.
  2. Combine the oatmeal with pumpkin seeds, cashews, pecans, apricots, blueberries and amaranth in a bowl.
  3. Melt the piloncillo with a little water in a pot and stir constantly until everything is melted.
  4. In a separate bowl mix oil, cinnamon, vanilla, piloncillo honey and chia until well incorporated.
  5. Add this oil mixture to the oatmeal.
  6. Pour the oatmeal mixture into the basket previously greased with spray oil. Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown. Remove, flip, return to the oven and bake for an additional 8 minutes.
  7. Let cool and enjoy.
