A service station gave away gasoline and breakfasts and caused a 10-hour line

It happened at a service station in the United States, the businessman Ernie Boch Jr, wanted to help with Petroleum free and breakfasts. It all happened in Norwood, a city of about 30,000 inhabitants that is located in the state of Massachusetts.

The rise in fuel prices has left some historical peaks in Europe, but not only there, but also in the United States. Although the price of gasoline does not usually exceed US$1.20 per liter, its cost is notably higher than it used to be in previous months.

Firefighters had to come to get the car out of the pool.

The businessman announced up to 7,000 gallons of free fuel, about 26,000 liters of gasoline, for the first customers. An initiative that has caused traffic chaos despite the fact that the authorities were warned in advance of what was going to happen.

Many people believed that it was a joke. It began to raise doubts because it coincided with the beginning of the month and April Fools’ Day, but playing with the name of the day, Boch renamed it April Fuels, assuring that it was a real action.

Many people took their word for it and after 10 hours in line, they got their. reward Petroleum free and breakfasts, several of them were waiting since the night before.

On the other hand, the businessman Boch, in addition to the fuel, wanted to collaborate and also give away free food and coffee in the form of breakfast for all those people who took the time to wait and were patient with the situation.

Asked via social media why he was doing this, Boch replied that he wanted to “give people a break and put a smile on their face” after the general rise in prices for Petroleum. Although he estimates that the April Fuels cost him around $33,000, he has no regrets.
