a Proudly Mexican cocktail worth celebrating with Patron Tequila

The February 22 is International Margarita Day.one of the most popular cocktails in the world and that is undoubtedly a great symbol of Mexican pride, as it is made from a distillate that is essential within the cultural tradition of our country: the tequila.

Patron Tequila is an expert in ultra-premium cocktails and is the ideal ingredient for the preparation of this iconic drink. Its artisanal production method, made with the passion of 60 Mexican hands in the Hacienda Patron, in Atotonilco el Alto, Jaliscowhich makes it the ideal ingredient for a good Daisy flowerand this year we want to celebrate it not only on its day, but throughout the month.

Here are some reasons why the Margarita is a cocktail that has earned a special place in the hearts of lovers of fine cocktails:

  1. It is an extremely popular cocktail due to its freshness, texture mild and sweet and sour flavor mixture and, above all, because it is very simple to prepare. The only thing you need to prepare it is lemon juice, orange liqueur and, of course, the Patron Tequila of your preference.
  2. The incredible thing about the Margarita is that it is not limited to just the original recipe, but invites creativity and innovation to be able to experiment with endless variants. Tequila Patrón is a tequila with great versatility due to its light flavor and aroma, so it can be used for dozens of different Margarita recipes with any ingredient you have at home.
  3. There are different versions about the origin of the Margarita. It is not known for sure who was the first person who prepared it (the legends that claim to have been the pioneers range from a bar in Ciudad Juárez to a hotel in Puebla, passing through a canteen in Ensenada, among others). What is certain is that it was invented in Mexico. and that from the moment of its creation it became a symbol of pride and a benchmark of Mexican culture before the rest of the world.

For these reasons and many more, we celebrate International Margarita Day as a symbol of pride for Mexicans.
