We are talking about a salad whose main ingredient is potatoes that you can make in a few minutes and without having to use the oven. You will only need the stove for a few minutes but it will not be necessary for you to be there to get the heat: you just have to synchronize a stopwatch on the end of cooking and return when it rings.

This is one of the most popular dishes in the summer that you will surely like. Even children will eat it with joy! It is perfect to be enjoyed on hot summer days, on the beach or by the lake.

Potato salad here’s how it’s done

L’Potato salad it is a real delicacy that you can make in a flash. Very easy to prepare, it is so fast because it does not require cooking: the ingredients that make up this salad, in fact, are as much as you can prepare both boiled potatoes and hard-boiled eggs in a few minutes in the morning, when it is still cool.

Greedy and inviting, you will want to savor this salad at first sight. Of course, don’t overdo the mayonnaise! So prepared, this finger food is fabulous! The softness of the potatoes and eggs mixes with the delicate flavor of the tuna and everything is made more easily tasted by the presence of mayonnaise and chives that give that extra touch of bio to the whole making it practically irresistible!

  • a knife
  • a potato peeler
  • a small saucepan
  • a bowl
  • transparent film
  • Ingrediants
  • salt
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • a sprig of parsley
  • chives
  • 230 g of tuna in oil
  • 590 g of yellow potatoes are selenium
  • 90 g of mayonnaise

Potato salad, procedure

Peel the washed potatoes and cut them into small pieces that you will collect in a saucepan. Add cold water, salt and cook everything over medium heat for the time necessary to soften, but not crumble, the potatoes. Meanwhile, put the eggs in another saucepan and cover them with water, always cold. Cook over medium-low heat for 8 minutes from boiling.

After the necessary time, drain the potatoes and let them cool in a bowl while the eggs will cool in the saucepan by passing them under a jet of cold water before peeling them. Once they have cooled, season the potatoes with the mayonnaise, chopped tuna and chives. Mix all the ingredients carefully to have a uniform potato salad that you will cool, covered with cling film, in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
