Los Mochis, Ahome, Sinaloa, June 04, 2022.- With a great spirit of help, hundreds of women gathered in Sinaloa Park to enjoy a delicious Spring Breakfast with a cause organized by the System for the Integral Development of the Family, DIF Ahome, for the benefit of the Basic Rehabilitation Unit, UBR Laureles.

The President of the DIF Sinaloa System, Eneyda Rocha Ruiz, and the President of the DIF Ahome System, Mónica Torres de Vargas, accompanied by the Director of DIF Ahome, Fernanda García Félix, were present at the venue.

The purpose of the breakfast was to raise funds for the improvement of the facilities of the UBR Laureles, which provides more than 600 services approximately per month: Physical, Psychological, Hearing and Language Therapy and Nutritional Counseling. All services are provided with low recovery fees.

Fernanda García Félix, thanked the 400 ladies who gathered this day to contribute to the DIF Ahome System, and at the same time help thousands of other citizens with their contribution.

“This morning we all meet here with the same purpose, which is to support the most noble causes, it is proven that the people of Los Mochis are very generous, helpful and charitable people and it has been proven in all situations of need.”

With the resources collected, it is intended to improve the quality of care and expand the number of beneficiaries, with Laureles being selected because it is the largest UBR and with the largest number of services to offer.
